Emma had always believed that life ran on schedules. She woke at six thirty brewed her coffee at six forty five and was on the subway by seven fifteen. Each day followed the rhythm she had carefully constructed leaving no room for chaos or unexpected encounters. That was until the day she spilled her latte on his notebook.

His name was Lucas tall with a messy mop of hair that seemed to defy gravity and a laugh that made people turn their heads. He was the complete opposite of Emma.
